Pac-12 Team Green

All universities in the Pac-12 are members of the Green Sports Alliance. The institutions' commitments to sustainability led to the formation of Pac-12 Team Green, a conference-level initiative to engage Athletics and Sustainability and grow capacity through sharing best practices. Team Green organizes the annual Pac-12 Sustainability Conference, the Pac-12 Zero Waste Competition and the Pac-12 Sustainability Working Group.

2022 Pac-12 Sustainability Conference at Utah!

The Pac-12 Sustainability Conference was held June 15-17, 2022 at the University of Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium. Consistent with its reputation as the Conference of Champions, the Pac-12
is the first collegiate sports conference to convene a high level symposium focused entirely on integrating sustainability into college athletics and across college campuses.

Volunteer for Recycle Rice Eccles!

In conjunction with the Associated Students of the University of Utah, the Sustainability Office supports sustainable tailgaters by collecting recycling from the tailgate lot before home football games. Volunteers get a free t-shirt and a ticket into the game. Register here to join us!
